We are thrilled to announce the winners of the Au Pair of the Year Award 2021! The award, given annually by Au Pair in America, provides the opportunity for host families to show their appreciation for their Au Pair’s achievements and how they’ve impacted their family’s lives.
There is a first, second and third place winner, chosen by a committee appointed by Au Pair in America (who were recently named Best Overall Au Pair Agency 2021) . All nominees are nominated by their host family, who are asked to write an essay that describes the characteristics that make their au pair exceptional, noting the positive impact she has had on their family and explaining how she has integrated into their local community and learned about America. All nominees receive a certificate, with the top three winners also receiving airline vouchers for varying denominations. Plus, ALL au pairs who were nominated for Au Pair of the Year award 2021 will receive a special Celebration Award Certificate.
Choosing winners for first, second and third place only proved to be too difficult, so a fourth category for Honorable Mention has been added.
